Planet Iceland

Iceland is a Nordic island nation best described by its endless expanses of stunning volcanic landscapes, geysers, hot springs, waterfalls, glaciers and black-sand beaches.

With a population of just over 300,000 and an abundance of natural beauty, it's easy to see why Iceland was listed in the top 3 countries on the 2016 World Happiness Report.

Contrary to popular belief, winters in Iceland are relatively mild with average temperatures varying between -3 to 5 degrees Celsius.

The landscapes look dramatically different depending on the time of season. Each season offers a different experience, so it is completely upto an individual to decide what interests them the most. The biggest crowd-puller in the winter is the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). Green lights dancing in the sky offer a once in a lifetime experience which is indescribable in words.
